I’m a good citizen. I recycle, monitor my consumption of fossil fuels, eat food raised locally and keep my property tidy.
I also monitor my Congresspeople and how they vote.
As I write this President Biden has just signed the historic American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. This may be the most historic legislation since Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal which pulled out country out of the Great Depression. It also lifted American Senior Citizens out of poverty with Social Security.
The American Rescue Plan is doing the same thing for our nation’s children, lifting millions and millions of children out of poverty.
It also provides: $1,400 stimulus checks, $300 a week jobless benefits, $3,000-$3,600 cash for kids, $34 billion for health care relief, $14 billion vaccine distribution, and $25 billion rent aid. This will save us. All of the economists agree.
As I do, I immediately checked to see how our Representative, Claudia Tenney, voted on this very important legislation. Let it be known that she voted NO.
Our Representative in the People’s House VOTED NO on the most important legislation since 1933.We must not allow her to be re-elected in 2022. We will remember.
