Natalie L. Brown announces today the launch of her new consultancy business, Natalie L. Brown, LLC. She will offer Board Governance, Organization Development, Strategic Planning and Interim Executive Leadership services to businesses and non-profits throughout the Central New York area.
“I am excited about this new chapter,” Natalie shares. “I look forward to being a part of fostering strong leadership that helps move an organization and ultimately our community forward.“
Natalie’s services will be offered in an array of ways including half, full or multi-day sessions, workshops, one-on-one consultations and more.
Professional Background
Natalie’s career began at General Electric with the Financial Management Program. In 1986, she began working for The Savings Bank of Utica (currently M&T Bank) and over fifteen years, held vice president positions in Finance, Administrative Services and Marketing.
In 2002, she pivoted her career to the non-profit sector when she took the Executive Director/CEO position at the Girl Scouts – Foothills Council, Inc. There, she managed the design and implementation of high quality programs for almost 4,700 girls and over 1,500 adults. She led staff, board and volunteers in corporate planning, financial management, property management, fund development, marketing, and personnel administration.
In 2010, she became the Executive Director/CEO of the YWCA Mohawk Valley, Inc. where she analyzed, proposed and implemented program restructuring, positioned the agency to be structurally sustainable and led the staff and board in strategic planning, program delivery and more. She retired in 2015.
In addition, Natalie served in leadership positions on numerous boards including Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Oneida County Industrial Development Agency and United Way.
