MORRISVILLE: Cornell Cooperative Extension’s Central NY Dairy, Livestock, and Field Crops Team (CNYDLFC) is hosting their annual Dairy Day event on March 8th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, virtually, via Zoom. For information and registration, go to https://bit.ly/dairyday2022.
The program features Dr. Geoffrey Dahl, from the University of Florida speaking about Dry Period Heat Stress Effects on the Cows. Dr. Jimena Laporta from the University of Wisconsin will address the Heat Stresses Lifetime Impacts on the Unborn Calf. Lastly, but not least, Dr. Robert Lynch, DVM from Cornell’s Pro-Dairy Program will present a talk titled Are we doing all the Right Things with our Colostrum? The heat stress effects are the heat stresses we have in upstate New York, not Florida.
