A bizarre exchange unfolded on Monday when Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham engaged in a conversation with guest Raymond Arroyo to discuss what they described as “woke TV.” While the anchor and her guest engaged in a conversation about TV shows that promote liberal views, Arroyo brought up the popular Netflix show You.
“I was watching an episode of You when measles came up,” he said, trying to prove that vaccines are part of the liberal views promoted in TV productions.
But Ingraham appeared to be confused when her guest mentioned the title of the Netflix show.
“Wait, wait, wait,” she said. “When did I mention measles?”
The strange segment continued, with Arroyo trying to explain that You refers to the title of a show.
“I don’t know,” said Arroyo. “It was on You.”
But that was only the beginning of the conversation that quickly went viral.
“What was on me?” Ingraham asked as the dialogue continued. “What are you talking about?”
“The measles and the vaccine episode was on You,” Arroyo replied.
The conversation became more bizarre as the two continued to go back and forth.
“We never did a measles and vaccine episode. Is this a joke?” the host said.
The analyst appeared to be getting more fed up, but still proceeded with his attempt to clarify the point.
“It was on You! It was on You!” he said.
“I’ve never had measles. What are you talking about? This is stupid!” Ingraham replied. “What’s he talking about? I’ve just never done a show on measles. I completely give up.”
Arroyo decides to change the subject in the end.
“I’m moving on to Adele,” he said. “I can’t explain this to you.”
