Utica, NY – State Supreme Court Candidate Anthony Brindisi received endorsements from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local 43 and the United Food & Commercial Workers (UFCW), Local One in his bid to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat in the 5th Judicial District. IBEW Local 43 represents 1,500 union members in the Central New York area and UFCW Local One represents 17,000 members in Upstate New York.
Alan Marzullo, Business Manager IBEW Local 43 said: “It is with great pleasure that we offer our union’s endorsement for Anthony Brindisi’s candidacy for office. We will notify all our members and their families that live in the area to let them know of this endorsement and encourage them to support Anthony on Election Day.”
Frank DeRiso, President, UFCW Local One said: “The United Food and Commercial Workers District Union One representing 17,000 members in Upstate New York – proudly endorses Anthony for his election for Supreme Court Judge.”
Anthony Brindisi said: “Having the support of the hard-working men and women of organized labor means so much to me. I am honored by these endorsements, and I pledge to use my nearly two decades of experience as a civil litigator and my experience as a public servant to be fair, impartial and independent as a Judge.”
The election is November 2nd.
