SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) will celebrate the completion of its $40 million Campus
Center renovation with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The renovation transformed the Campus Center into a more modern, accessible and welcoming
destination for students and the university community. The project included new classroom space
in the building’s former pool area, a centrally located Residential Life suite, renovated athletic
locker rooms, improved offices and meeting spaces, and upgrades to Kevin Grimmer Court,
including a new playing surface, bleachers and scoreboard. The project also included improvements
to the building’s lobby, circulation and ADA accessibility, as well as the replacement of existing
natural gas boilers with geothermal systems for heating and cooling.
