A Death Cafe is a get-together for the purpose of talking about death and dying over food and drink, usually cake, tea, and coffee. The goal of these nonprofit groups is to educate and help others become more familiar and comfortable with discussing end of life issues.
The aim at the Clinton Death Cafe is to provide a friendly, relaxed, and, hopefully, fun environment for people to talk about and explore issues surrounding death and end of life, without an agenda, judgment, or criticism.
There’s no obligation to speak: you can listen to what others have to say while you sit and enjoy cake and tea!
