CABVI Announces the Promotion of Jessica Watson to Senior Vice President of Syracuse Operations

UTICA, NY…  The Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Jessica Watson to senior vice president of Syracuse Operations. This appointment recognizes Jessica’s exceptional leadership, operational expertise, and longstanding commitment to advancing CABVI’s mission.
Watson brings more than 20 years of leadership, operations, training, and customer service experience to her new role. Over the past 16 years with CABVI, she has served as vice president of services and quality assurance, where she successfully led business development initiatives, managed key customer relationships, oversaw service operations, and developed innovative programs that created employment opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
Throughout her career, Watson has distinguished herself as a people-centered leader with a passion for developing talent and building high-performing teams. From creating and launching company-wide leadership certification programs to mentoring emerging leaders and coordinating training initiatives for hundreds of employees, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to employee growth, engagement, and success. Her ability to foster collaboration, build strong relationships, and inspire teams has made a lasting impact across the organization.
Ed Welsh, President and CEO of CABVI, said that in her new role, Watson will provide strategic and operational leadership for CABVI’s Syracuse division, overseeing production, warehousing, customer service, and workforce development initiatives. She will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting organizational growth, strengthening employee engagement, and ensuring alignment between CABVI’s Utica and Syracuse operations.
