Albany County is now seeing the highest number of COVID-19 hospitalizations since late February.
County officials are also reporting one new death with the latest victim a man in his 90s.
Meanwhile, the county is bucking a three day trend of triple digit COVID-19 cases with just 82 reported Saturday.
The advice from health officials remains the same. Get vaccinated, wear a mask and stay home if you’re sick.

Health officials in Warren County are also reporting another COVID-19-related death. This person was in their 50’s and died in the hospital.
Officials also say they were not vaccinated and did not have a history of significant health issues. The county are also reporting 77 new cases on Saturday with 20 people in the hospital and four of them in critical condition. Health officials say 23 of the 77 new cases involve people who are fully vaccinated.
