This week’s episode of NXT TV featured Io Shirai, Jacy Jayne, and Persia Pirotta in a triple threat match to determine who would spin the wheel for the upcoming women’s tag team title match at Halloween Havoc next week.
There was trouble early on, as Jayne went for a suicide dive to the outside and caught her knees on the ropes. She landed badly and was quickly attended to by WWE medical personnel. By the end of a commercial break, she was out of the match completely.
Shirai and Pirotta made the best of it from there, putting together a solid singles match that saw the former defeat the latter with a diving moonsault.
She spun the wheel right after and came up with this:
A ladder match sounds fun — especially one named “Scareway to Hell” — but our thoughts are with Jayne while we await word on her status.
