Just one day after the Oneida County Republican committee endorsed professional politician Claudia Tenney’s campaign for Congress, Tenney made national news by falsely saying that most mass murderers are Democrats.
“First it was that Democrats are un-American. Then, it was sticking up for a domestic abuser working in the White House. Now, Claudia Tenney has said that most mass murderers are Democrats. Not only is this demonstrably false, it has no place in our culture and society. The Oneida County Republican Party should disavow her comments and rescind their endorsement of Tenney,” Oneida County Democratic Chair Bill Thickstun said.
“Either the local Republican Party can separate themselves from these disgusting comments or they can show everyone that all they care about is politics and not solving the problems that we face as a community,” Thickstun added.
