24 year old Utica man has been arrested for disseminating indecent material

According to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derrick O’Meara, who is the Director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, a 24 year old Utica man has been arrested for disseminating indecent material to an underage female child in Oneida County.

 

The 24 year old, Isaiah A. Jefferson, did this when he sent the juvenile victim inappropriate and unwanted material, while being aware of her age.

 

The Child Advocacy Center was initially notified of this incident through the City of Rome Police Department. Detective Alexis Perry, also of the Rome Police Department, who is assigned to the Child Advocacy Center, was then assigned to this case.

 

On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Jefferson was arrested by Detective Perry and charged with Disseminating Indecent Material to a Minor in the 2nd Degree, a Class E Felony, and Endangering the welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor. Jefferson was arraigned in CAP court and is being held on unrelated charges at this time.

 

Services have been offered to the child through the Child Advocacy Center.
