Twilight Sessions
Art by Christine Tisa at The Other Side Gallery, 2011 Genesee St., Utica
The Other Side Gallery is pleased to exhibit the works of local artist, Christine Tisa. Christine’s work “focuses on the place where nature, human connection, and spiritualism meet.” She currently works and provides art instruction at Tisa Gallery in Clinton, NY and Thousand Islands Art Center in Clayton, NY. She received her art MS in art education at Syracuse University and her MFA in painting and printmaking at RIT. She has received numerous awards and honors for her work, both in painting and printmaking. They include first place at the WCNY Art invitational at Everson Museum in Syracuse, first place printmaking, North Country Artist Guild National Exhibit in Watertown, NY and outstanding painting award at the Memorial Art Gallery National Exhibit in Rochester, NY.
