Siince the Pfizer vaccine was approved for kids ages 5 to 11, some parents are now wondering how to get them. The children’s vaccine is not the same as the adults, being only 1/3 of the strength, meaning this special dosage needs extra time to reach communities.
However, several area Walgreens stores had appointments available earlier today, but it looks like they’re already filled.
The list of locations includes those in Auburn and Oneida, as well as stores at the Fayetteville Towne Center and Western Lights Plaza in Syracuse.
If you did miss out on getting an appointment, keep checking back, because more appointments might be added soon. You can book one online at the Walgreens website or by calling 1-800-925-4733.
