According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol, a Waterville Man has been arrested as a result of an order of protection violation.
On July 1st, 2026, a Deputy assigned to the Waterville Field Office responded to a Bogan Rd address in the Town of Marshall to follow up regarding a separate complaint. Upon arrival at said location, the Deputy observed that Gregory R. Getman (45), was at said location, while a Full Stay-Away Order of Protection was in place, ordering him to stay away from said residence and residents.
Getman was taken into custody, transported to the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building and charged with (1) count of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.
Getman was held for arraignment at Oneida County Centralized Arraignment, after which he was held on bail at the Oneida County Jail. He is scheduled to return to Marshall Town Court at a later date and time.
