Earlier today, June 17 th , 2026, Vernon resident, Jeremy Pawlikowski was in court, in front of the
Honorable Michael R. Nolan, to be sentenced after pleading guilty to Promoting Sexual
Performance by a Child Less Than 17 years of age, a Class D Felony in late April. Pawlikowski
was sentenced to a term of 10 years of probation, with the first six months to be served in the
Oneida County Jail. Additionally, Pawlikowski will have to register as a sex offender for
minimum of twenty years.
The case was investigated by the Oneida County Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center
and Oneida County Sheriff’s Department. The investigation began when authorities discovered
that Pawlikowski had uploaded child pornography on to an internet platform. Subsequentially
authorities executed a Search Warrant for Pawlikowski’s cell phone which contained illicit
pictures and videos of child pornography. Pawlikowski also admitted to Sheriff Deputies his
possession and promotion of such pictures and videos.
The Case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant District Attorney Laurie Lisi just prior to her
stepping down from her post after 38 years of faithful service.
