WHAT: Utica Children’s Museum Worldwide Day of Play
WHEN: Saturday, September 28, 2024, 11am-2pm
WHERE: 106 Memorial Parkway, Utica – Rain or shine
(site of the NEW Children’s Museum, the event will be held outdoors and in ICAN’s
Family Resource Center Community Room)
HIGHLIGHTS:
The Utica Children’s Museum is excited to announce their participation in Our World:
Worldwide Day of Play on September 28, 2024. This day is dedicated to joyful learning
through play, getting children and their families up and out and having FUN! This will be
UCM’s second year joining children’s museums and other organizations around the
globe to celebrate.
• The event is FREE and open to the public. Various activities will include:
• Utica Children’s Museum’s Mobile Museum
• SNUG Utica will be cooking up free hotdogs, chips, and drinks
• Elevate CNY Sports Complex with a physical fitness station
• Griffiss Institute with gliders, cryptology, robotics, and more!
• UMN 4 the Arts will bring music and art together
• The Facepainting Lady will bring all the creativity and art!
• UCM Play Ambassadors with some FUN crafts!
• PLUS, Joe Mandia, owner of Stronghold Animation, will hold two drawing classes
