Known for their captivating stage presence and storytelling, the Barrigars craft an interactive experience that appeals to casual listeners and guitar purists alike.
Loren Barrigar’s legendary career began at just four years old, leading him to play the Grand Ole Opry at age six and later study under Chet Atkins’ brother, Jimmy. Today, despite adapting to a major hand injury, Loren’s performances have evolved to show an even deeper emotional nuance alongside his technical precision. Performing with his son LJ, the duo continues a lifelong family tradition of elite musicianship that has taken them from regional New York favorite stages to radio stations across the country.
“Playing music with my son is the ultimate joy as a musician,” says Loren Barrigar. “Every night on stage we try to push each other creatively while honoring the great fingerstyle traditions. We can’t wait to share this music and these stories with a live audience.”
