On Wednesday, October 28th, Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon, in partnership with AAA Northeast, will host First Responder Appreciation Day, a special event to honor and thank the men and women who dedicate their lives to protection our communities.
This year’s event will be hosted from 8:30a.m. to 10:30a.m. at the Ocean Blue Restaurant and Oyster Bar, located in the Landmark Building, 118 Columbia Street, Utica, New York 13502.
The morning will include light breakfast and refreshments for all first responders, the presentation of New York State Legislative Resolutions officially proclaiming October 28th as First Responder’s Appreciation Day in the State of New York, and the presentation of New York State Assembly Citations to first responders nominated by their departments in recognition of outstanding service above and beyond the call of duty.
