Next week’s (Oct. 6) anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite will feature a Casino Ladder match. The winner of these “Casino” themed matches always earns a future title match. In this case, the winner gets to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW world championship at a date to be determined.
A list of wrestlers competing in the ladder match was revealed on tonight’s episode of Rampage. The first four wrestlers named include Jon Moxley, PAC, Lance Archer, and Andrade El Idolo. Later in the show, Orange Cassidy and Matt Hardy were added to the mix. In addition to those six men, there is also one “joker” in the match, whose identity will remain a mystery until the match takes place.
Many fans have been anticipating the return of Hangman Page and his ongoing pursuit of Omega’s championship, but it doesn’t look like he’ll be in the ladder match unless he is the joker. Could it instead be time for Jon Moxley to get one more shot at Omega’s gold?
