SUNY Poly to host The Utica Children’s Mobile Museum on Saturday

 

UTICA, NY – SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) and The Utica Children’s Museum invites families and children to visit campus for a delightful morning of playful learning at a special event, “Morning at the Museum: Let’s Learn and Play.” This free event, scheduled for Saturday, June 22, from 10 a.m. to noon, will take place in SUNY Poly’s Student Center Multi-Purpose Room.

This event will feature a variety of exciting activities designed to spark creativity and collaboration among young participants. Highlights include the “Imagination Playground” and “Polygon Octoplay,” encouraging creative building and teamwork. Wobble Boards, Marble Maze Boards, Hoola-Hoops, Foam Pogo sticks, Cup Stilts, Jump Ropes, and the “Wobble Chair,” promoting balance and safe risk-taking. The Wobble Chair is a favorite among both children and adults!

Debuting in November 2021, the Children’s Mobile Museum has been “taking the fun on the road,” engaging hundreds of children through interactive and educational experiences. Tailored for Pre-K through 6th grade, each visit is customized to ensure maximum enjoyment and learning for children and families.

Coordinator of University Conferencing and Events Bill Dustin encourages the community to visit SUNY Poly’s campus, stating, “There is no need to register in advance. We welcome as many participants as possible within the two-hour timeframe. Join us for a fun-filled morning where learning and play come together!”
