Summer High School Cabaret

Summer on the Stage at The Stanley

A FREE Event Presented by The Stanley Theater

Friday, August 17th at 7:30pm at The Stanley Theatre, Utica

Utica, N.Y. (Tuesday, August 14th) – The Stanley Theater will be presenting a FREE Summer Cabaret on Friday, August 17th at 7:30pm, which features local high students from across Oneida County, giving them the opportunity to perform on the Stanley’s stage. Each student will be performing a musical theatre song of their choosing for the audience. Students will be singing songs from popular musicals like “Hamilton” and “Dear Evan Hansen” to the classic shows like “Guys and Dolls” and “The Sound of Music”. Performers will get to show off in solo numbers, or will perform with their friends in groups.

Our students have been working hard this Summer for their recent full-length production Seussical the Musical. “This is a chance for our actors to show off why they were a part of Seussical in the first place!”, Musical Director Deb Holling told us when she was asked about the Summer Cabaret and why this is something you do not want to miss. You could tell these students were talented then, but you will truly get to see them shine at the Summer Cabaret.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and show will start at 7:30 p.m. For more information please call the box office 315-724-4000.
