Skaneateles look strong in 28-6 win

Here’s a roundup from this week’s football action in the CNY.

In Class “C,” Skaneateles has been the clear team to beat from day one.

On Friday night, Bishop Ludden was looking to unseed the second-ranked team in the state.

The Gaelic Knights kept the Lakers in check in the first quarter, and managed to keep it a 0-0 game after the first quarter. In the second, the Lakers offense started to come alive.

Quarterback James Musso connected with Grayson Brunelle for a 22-yard score, and shortly after that, he dropped a 39-yard bomb to Patrick Herr.

Ludden was led by Nazier Kinsey, who scored their lone touchdown on the night in the third quarter.

In the end, Skaneateles was too much for the Gaelic Knights in what ended up being a 28-6 win.

With the victory, the Lakers improved to 6-0, while the Gaelic Knights dropped to 3-2.
