With health officials and counties taking action over concerns of high COVID rates, Watertown is opening a drive-thru testing site.
The New York State Department of Health and Jefferson County are teaming up to offer free COVID testing starting Monday.
Over 100 appointments are offered each day, except Tuesdays and Sundays. The Samaritan Health and Wellness Plaza location will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
It’s also offering PCR testing on a first-come, first-serve basis. Test results will be available between 3 to 7 days.
Appointments can only be scheduled online at the Samaritan Health website.
