On Sunday, November 30, 2025, Downtown Utica was filled with excitement as the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas Concert was set to begin.
This year marks 4 decades of performing traditional and classic holiday songs. Founder and Creator; Chip Davis states in the concert program that: “For many of you our concerts have become part of your holiday traditions…
One of the greatest joys for me is hearing from families who have been coming to shows for decades and are now bringing children and grandchildren to share the experience.”
Multi-generational families were in evidence at the Stanley theater as top notch symphonic and rock inspired Christmas tunes were played by masterful musicians. Instruments such as violins, recorders, drums, percussion, guitar, bass, keyboard and harpsichord filled the theater with majestic sounds as light shows and videos of Christmas and winter scenes were played.
I thank my friend for sharing this lovely experience with me.
