Joseph Peter Drennan, attorney of Alexandria Va was born in and lived in Utica as a youth, visiting here frequently to this day. His letter to the editor, a lengthy tome on Utica downtown development with focus on the proposed hospital, was rejected by the Utica Observer Dispatch, ostensibly on the basis that he was not a Utican. Drennan read it in its entirety at the meeting adding that the course of affairs on the hospital could warrant legal action and remedy

president, queries presenters on their outlook
for the hospital project. Galime, the
only elected City of Utica official
to attend was joined by Lou Poccia, candidate
for first ward council representative.
