Over the course of the winter For The Good has partnered with Layers of Love in Waterville to provide and distribute thousands of free, beautiful, handmade, double layered cotton masks. The masks go from sizes for children to masks large enough for large men’s faces, including beards. Just before Christmas FTG CEO Cassandra made the rounds delivering masks to the various nfp’s in the city. Rev. Ursula Meyers received for the Johnson Park Center and recently announced that the masks were all gone in a single day during their regular distributions.
Other locations for free masks are both Thea Bowman houses, the Mother Marianne Westside Soup Kitchen and the Food Bank near City Hall. Garro’s Drug Store on Bleecker St is another location. For The Good and our partners are dedicated to providing what our community needs to stay safe.
