The Late Bell: Collision’s Tag-Team Test and AAA’s 10 PM Tripleheader
By David LaGuerre
Saturday, October 24, 2026 | Late edition
Saturday’s wrestling schedule has two distinct main events. AEW Collision goes live at 8 p.m. ET with the second match in FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns’ best-of-five series. Two hours later, AAA Héroes Inmortales begins a three-match championship broadcast from Mexico City. The afternoon also brought a complete Collision preview and WWE’s official AAA Week 1 lineup—both posted after this morning’s Phoenix recap.
If you are looking for every match and segment from Friday’s WWE show, read our complete SmackDown Morning Bell. This edition moves forward instead of repeating it.
Tonight’s verified viewing guide, Eastern Time
| Show | Time | Where to watch in the U.S. | Card status |
|---|---|---|---|
| AEW Collision | 8 p.m. ET | TNT and HBO Max | Three matches and one speaking segment confirmed |
| AAA Héroes Inmortales, Week 1 | 10 p.m. ET | YouTube and Facebook | Three championship matches confirmed |
Collision: The tag rivalry reaches Match 2
AEW’s official preview confirms that Collision is live from the LJVM Coliseum in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. FTR’s Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler enter the night trailing Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, 1-0, in their best-of-five series.
The format matters. A second Motor City Machine Guns victory would put FTR one loss from elimination and give Shelley and Sabin a chance to close the series Wednesday. An FTR win would make the third match a true reset. That makes this more than another strong tag match placed in the middle of a weekly show: the score changes the urgency of everything that follows.
Swerve Strickland vs. Myron Reed
Swerve is trying to get back into the World Trios Championship conversation after losing the belts at WrestleDream. Reed, representing The Rascalz, can force himself and his partners into the same picture with an upset over a former AEW world champion. AEW has framed this as a test of Swerve’s focus after Hangman Page rejected his proposed Texas Death challenge.
Wrathlander vs. Divine Dominion
Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron face Megan Bayne and Lena Kross. The match was added in the official afternoon preview after Divine Dominion and Triangle of Madness attacked Wrathlander and the Brawling Birds on Dynamite. Statlander and Cameron are already the No. 1 contenders to Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor’s AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship at Full Gear, so a clean loss tonight would complicate their momentum even if it did not erase that title opportunity.
Jay White gets the microphone
AEW also promises comments from Jay White after the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs joined forces against the Death Riders and The Conglomeration. That appearance is confirmed; any prediction about a new faction name, a Full Gear match or an additional opponent is still speculation. We are not presenting those guesses as news.
AAA Héroes Inmortales: Three titles at 10 p.m.
WWE’s official AAA preview confirms that Week 1 streams at 10 p.m. ET on YouTube and Facebook outside Latin America; FOX carries it in Latin America. The show was scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. local time inside Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera, making the U.S. stream a later viewing window rather than a simultaneous opening bell.
- AAA World Trios Championship: Los Perros del Mal defend against La Parka, Mr. Iguana and Niño Hamburguesa.
- AAA Reina de Reinas Championship: La Catalina defends against Flammer and La Hiedra in a three-way match.
- AAA Mega Championship: El Grande Americano defends against Dominik Mysterio.
The Mega Championship match has the clearest WWE crossover. Dominik earned another opportunity after he and Omos defeated El Grande Americano and Rey Mysterio on AAA television. WWE has posted an official “Road to Héroes Inmortales” video recapping that rivalry.
The Reina de Reinas match carries a different risk. Flammer and La Hiedra are opponents, but their history as Las Tóxicas means Catalina must prepare for temporary cooperation as well as a three-way fight. That possibility is analysis, not a reported plan for the finish.
CMLL follow-up: Skadi wins the Amazonas Grand Prix
Friday’s CMLL Amazonas Grand Prix ended with Skadi as the sole survivor. Fightful reported that she pinned Megan Bayne in the final elimination. This result is reported by an established outlet; CMLL’s event page still displayed the card rather than a complete official results post when this edition was prepared.
CMLL’s next verified Arena México card is Sunday at 5 p.m. local time, or 7 p.m. ET. The official listing includes Volador Jr. vs. Esfinge, Queen Aminata vs. India Sioux, and Skadi vs. Masha Slamovich. The promotion notes that the lineup is subject to late changes.
What is confirmed for next week
AEW Dynamite, Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on TBS and HBO Max: Persephone will defend the TBS Championship against Queen Aminata at Fright Night Dynamite. AEW’s Collision preview also identifies FTR vs. Motor City Machine Guns Match 3 for Wednesday. Tonight’s result will determine whether that bout could end the series or tie it.
WWE Raw and NXT: Raw remains set for Monday at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix, and NXT remains set for Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. As of Saturday afternoon, WWE had not published full match-by-match preview pages for those episodes. The next major NXT card is Halloween Havoc on Saturday, October 31 at 7 p.m. ET on The CW and ESPN Unlimited. WWE currently confirms Grayson Waller vs. Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Championship, Kelani Jordan vs. Wren Sinclair for the NXT Women’s Championship, and Danhausen as host.
TNA: Thursday Night iMPACT! is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET Thursday on AMC and AMC+, with TNA+ carrying the program internationally. TNA had not posted the October 29 match card when this edition was prepared. For the previous episode’s results and the Shotzi and Destination X developments, see our October 23 Morning Bell.
ROH: ROH’s official site lists Episode 189 as available on HonorClub. No complete card for the next weekly episode was posted by late Saturday afternoon. We will not fill that gap with unverified social-media graphics or fan listings.
Confirmed, reported and rumor check
- Confirmed by the promotions: Collision’s three matches and Jay White segment; AAA’s three Week 1 title matches and U.S. streaming time; the current Halloween Havoc card; CMLL’s Sunday lineup.
- Reported: Skadi’s Grand Prix victory, supported by Fightful’s results report while CMLL’s own results page lagged.
- Rumors: None used as a news item in this edition. Possible extra matches, surprise appearances and storyline outcomes remain predictions until a promotion announces them or a reputable report supplies evidence.
