September is Direct Support Professionals Appreciation Month Utica, NY – The Kelberman Center is celebrating Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Appreciation Month with the launch of a new DSP incentive program open to staff in Kelberman’s four residences located in Chittenango, Fayetteville, and Sylvan Beach, NY. Full-time residential DSP staff in good standing at the end of each quarter will receive a $300.00 bonus – up to $1,200 each year!
“Our residence counselors put their hearts into their work each and every day, supporting our individuals year-long through weekends, holidays, and all kinds of weather,” said Catherine McGuiggan, Managing Director of Program Operations. “We are thrilled to be able to celebrate their dedication and commitment with a new incentive. It’s a small token of our appreciation for the life-changing work they do.”
Residence counselors support our residents’ daily living needs while helping them implement person centered plans. Residence counselors may be full-time or part-time, with flexible hours including days,nights, and weekends. The Kelberman Center offers excellent benefit packages for individuals or families, rates starting above minimum wage, and additional incentives including shift differential and the new quarterly bonus.
