Herkimer County Community College to Host “Lights. Camera. Drag!”

 

HERKIMER, NY, May 1, 2026 — The Rainbow Alliance at Herkimer County Community College will host “Lights. Camera. Drag!” on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. in the HCCC Amphitheater.
The event will celebrate artistry, self-expression, and community through an evening of live drag performances. The show will be hosted by Electra Qute and Makenzie Taylor and will feature performances by Stella Progress, Jumper Bones, Addi Lil’Rondaxe, Lez Kneelson, and Arista Krat. Admission is free for HCCC students. General admission is $10, or $5 with the donation of a non-perishable food item. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Trans-Continental Pipeline, and all food donations will support the General’s Cupboard.
The campus community and public are invited to attend and enjoy an evening of entertainment while supporting local initiatives. The Rainbow Alliance is a club that is working towards creating an accepting environment for all people of any sexual orientation, gender, ethnicity, nationality, color, creed, religious belief or age.  Members raise awareness about diversity in hopes of decreasing discrimination and or violence.
