HERKIMER, N.Y., July 22, 2026— Adults looking to start or finish a college degree now have
even more opportunities through SUNY Reconnect at Herkimer County Community College.
Artificial Intelligence and Supply Chain Management degree programs have been added to the
list of SUNY Reconnect-eligible programs, increasing the College’s total number of eligible
programs to 11.
President Terri Grates Day stated, “At Herkimer County Community College, we believe
education should be accessible, affordable and directly connected to opportunity. Expanding our
SUNY Reconnect offerings to include Artificial Intelligence and Supply Chain Management gives
more adult learners the chance to prepare for careers in growing industries while investing in
their future and the future of our region.”
SUNY Reconnect is a tuition-free community college program for New Yorkers ages 25 to 55
who have not yet earned a college degree. After all other financial aid is applied, the program
covers the remaining costs of tuition, fees, books and supplies.
