On Tuesday, November 19th at 6:30 pm, the Utica Public Library will present a 20th century fiction discussion group for the Harlem Renaissance classic “The Blacker the Berry” by Wallace Thurman.  The novel was groundbreaking in its honest exploration of colorism and intra-racial racism.  Registration begins on October 16th at 8:30 am.  You must register in person so you can receive your free copy of the novel and the discussion hand-out.  For questions, please call 315-735-2279.  Refreshments are included.
