Halloween Yard Displays Turn Seasonal Fun Into Support for St. Jude

Halloween decorations can do more than draw a crowd. A nationwide campaign called Skeletons for St. Jude uses the attention around yard displays to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The effort began in 2020 with Jeff Robertson’s display in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Its organizer website confirms an active 2026 Halloween and holiday campaign and provides current signs and participation resources.

Small displays, a shared purpose

Participants place campaign signs near their decorations so visitors can find the fundraiser. The organizer says this year’s campaign ends December 31.

The project offers a simple idea for community-minded decorators: connect something neighbors already enjoy with a clearly identified cause. Readers should use the organizer’s current resources rather than an old sign or an unverified donation link.

A note about the numbers

The website’s live fundraising counter did not display a current total during this review. This article therefore does not describe a cumulative historical figure as money raised this season.
