Double Your Impact on SUNY Poly’s Day of Giving

UTICA, NY – SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) will host its annual Day of Giving on March 27, a  24-hour fundraising campaign encouraging alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the university to  support students and the programs that help them succeed.

This year’s campaign features an anonymous $40,000 matching gift, doubling the impact of every  dollar raised. Supporters are encouraged to participate and help unlock these funds to benefit vital  student-centered initiatives.

“The generosity of our alumni, faculty, staff, community partners and friends make an incredible  difference in the lives of our students,” said Vice President of Institutional Advancement Andrea  LaGatta. “Your support, whether through a new scholarship or gift, ensures that SUNY Poly students  have the resources they need to thrive. Every gift matters, and with our generous matching  donation, your impact is doubled. We invite everyone to join us in shaping a brighter future for our  students.”

Contributions raised during the Day of Giving will support several key areas on campus, including  Wildcat Athletics, Student Scholarships, the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP), the SUNY Poly  Emergency Fund, Poly Pantry, and the SUNY Poly Annual Fund. A newly established scholarship,  supported through this initiative, will further defray already-low college costs for students  attending SUNY Poly, ensuring higher education remains accessible and affordable.
