CFLR Announces the Role of Community Educator to Enhance Prevention Services in Our Local Communities

Rome, NY (January 2025) — The Center for Family Life and Recovery (CFLR) is proud to announce its ongoing  commitment to improving community health and well-being through the vital role of its Community Educator.  With a primary focus on prevention, education and outreach, CFLR is dedicated to equipping individuals and  communities with the tools and knowledge needed to address and prevent various health and wellness  challenges.

As our Prevention Community Educator, Ashley Neuschel works diligently to develop and implement  comprehensive community prevention programs. The role involves close collaboration with schools, local  organizations and agencies to drive awareness and provide educational resources on important topics such as  vaping, mental health and NARCAN use. Ashley expresses, “I am dedicated to fostering a healthier and safer  environment by providing education on critical health topics. My work focuses on building partnerships,  creating impactful presentations and engaging with diverse groups in the community. By helping to coordinate  events, provide training and gather program data, I strive to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our  community in meaningful ways.”

In addition to education and events, Ashley is involved in supporting the strategic planning of prevention  services, assisting with program data collection and contributing to marketing efforts that increase awareness  of CFLR’s prevention services. In her role, Ashley also assists with community and fundraising events and grant  writing, helping to ensure that CFLR continues to expand its capacity to serve the community. Flexibility and  adaptability are critical components of this role. “As our Community Educator, Ashley is always willing to take  on additional tasks that help strengthen our prevention efforts,” said Francesca Esposito, CFLR’s Prevention  Director. “Whether it’s supporting our community-based or school-based services, her contributions have  made a significant impact in improving our programs and enhancing our outreach.” For more information on CFLR’s prevention programs, visit http://www.whenthereshelpthereshope.com/services/prevention-services/ or  contact Ashley by calling: 315-733-1709 or emailing: aneuschel@cflrinc.org
