The B Sharp Musical Club will present its annual benefit concert Sunday, June 7 at 3:00 PM at the Stone Presbyterian Church in Clinton, featuring performances by members of the Junior B Sharp members. Proceeds from this year’s benefit concert will go to StageWorks, a program of the ARC of Oneida-Lewis Counties. There is a suggested donation of $10 (individual) or $25 (families). There will be a post-performance reception. The B Sharp Musical Club was founded in 1903 and supports music and the arts in the Greater Utica Area by hosting free concert programs, mentoring young musicians, awarding scholarships, and providing outreach to under served communities.
The Junior B Sharp was established in 1916 for talented local music students to augment the musical offerings of the schools and private music teachers. Through regular monthly meetings, Jr B Sharp gives its members opportunities for solo and chamber music performances, contact with other outstanding area music students, and involvement in special feature programs and workshops presented by guest professionals.
