WHAT
Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon will be joined by the Utica Comets, Utica City Football Club,
Save of the Day Foundation, and members of the Utica/Rome Fire and Police Departments to announce the
launch of her 7th Annual Winter Accessories Drive. For the past six years, this community initiative has
helped ensure that no family in the Mohawk Valley goes without warmth and comfort during the winter
season, collecting new and unused hats, gloves, mittens, scarves, and warm socks through a network of
community donation sites. The press conference will highlight this year’s partnerships and detail for
residents how they can contribute in the months ahead.
