Today, the Office of Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez released the following statement.
“Representative Ocasio-Cortez has received a positive test result for COVID-19. She is experiencing symptoms and recovering at home. The Congresswoman received her booster shot this Fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.”

AOC recently received backlash for being spotted on a lunch date with her boyfriend without a mask in Florida over the holidays. She was also seen with a large crowd in Miami partying without a mask.

Republicans were calling her a hypocrite for not wearing a mask and for being in the state of Florida since she criticizes it frequently over their lack of mask mandates.
We hope AOC recovers from COVID-19 quickly.
