American Heart Association to pay tribute to dedicated volunteers


Awards ceremony to recognize community including “Volunteer of the Year”

                                Award categories include: Heartsaver Heroes, Special Recognitions, Friend of Heart, Youth Market and the top awards:

  • Distinguished Service Award
  • Heart Survivor of the Year
  • Volunteer of the Year   

Where:                Yahnundasis Golf Club 8639 Seneca Turnpike  New Hartford, NY

When:                  Thursday, June 8, 2017  7:30 am – 9:00 am, program begins at 8:00

Interviews available before and after program.

Why:                     Life is why the American Heart Association’s work is so important. We would not be able to do that work without volunteers. The Greater Utica Division of the American Heart Association is holding its annual awards ceremony to give thanks and appreciation to countless individuals and companies that help advance the mission of the American Heart Association. The awardees work tirelessly to build a healthier community, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
