The first game for this year’s Syracuse University football season is in the books.
The Orange are starting off 1-0 with a win over Ohio Saturday night.
Fans were able to watch the game in the Carrier Dome, in anticipation for their home opener next weekend.
In 2020, the dome was empty due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So while fans were away, school officials took the time to upgrade the dome.
Renovations include a new scoreboard, lights and sound system.
Fans can expect new concessions and for it to feel a little cooler in the dome, as air conditioning upgrades were made.
The Orange play their home opener next Saturday against Rutgers at 2 p.m.
