AEW kicks off Rampage by taking a shot at WWE’s

If you were wondering why AEW made a late addition to tonight’s (Nov. 5) Rampage card by booking Bryan Danielson vs. Anthony Bowens, we got our answer during Bowens’ entrance. It was so his partner Max Caster could use his entrance rap to go after WWE’s decision to fire 18 wrestlers last night.

Check it out for yourself:

Yep, that’s Max Caster saying he ends careers faster than Bryan’s father-in-law, who happens to be Mr. People Power himself and WWE’s head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis.

The kayfabe excuse for this match is that Tony Khan booked it as a punishment for The Acclaimed after they said he was a bad boss. Khan’s plan worked out very well, as Danielson stretched Bowens out, tortured his limbs, and put him away with the Lebell Lock.

Danielson defeats Bowens and can now focus on his match against Miro at Full Gear on Nov. 13 in the final bout of the World Title Eliminator Tournament.
