Clinton, NY — Rhonda Vincent The Rage close the 2026 Performing Arts Series with a bluegrass concert on Friday, April 10 at 7:30 pm in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.
The Center for Rural Development proudly welcomes back Grammy award-winning and Grand Ole Opry member Rhonda Vincent — the “Queen of Bluegrass” — and her band, The Rage, live in concert on this Friday at 7 p.m. in The Center’s Cornelia Dozier Cooper Theatre. Called the “Queen of Bluegrass, Vincent earned a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album in 2017 and has been honored repeatedly by the International Bluegrass Music Association, including seven consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year Awards from 2000-2006 and an eighth win in 2015.
She was also named Entertainer of the Year in 2001 and received Song of the Year in 2004.
Vincent achieved a lifelong dream when she was invited to join the Grand Ole Opry on Feb. 28, 2020, and was officially inducted as a member in 2021. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for senior citizens and Hamilton employees, and $5 for students. Seating is limited to 80 per night, and advance tickets are suggested.
