Rome Police and Coaches Face Off for Youth Athletics

The annual “Cops vs. Coaches” charity basketball game is set to take place on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Rome Free Academy Main Gym. This community favorite event brings together local law enforcement and coaches for a friendly competition with all proceeds benefiting local youth athletics programs.

Tickets are affordably priced at just $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children, making this a family-friendly evening of fun and community spirit. Tickets can be purchased at the door, the Rome Police Department, or Rome City Hall.

The event will feature exciting basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing, giving attendees additional ways to support the cause while having a chance to win prizes.

This charity game represents a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, support youth sports programs, and witness the camaraderie between Rome’s police officers and local coaches as they compete on the court for a great cause.

Mark your calendars for March 28th and join the fun at Rome Free Academy!
