Naturalization Ceremony at Fort Stanwick National Monument

United States District Court Judge David N. Hurd will preside over a
Naturalization Ceremony to be conducted on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at
11:00 a.m. at Fort Stanwix National Monument in Rome, New York.
Fifty-one (51) individuals representing twenty (20) different nations from
six (6) different continents around the world—including nations such as
Burma, Dominican Republic, India, Jamaica, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine,
and Vietnam—are scheduled to be sworn in as new citizens.
Michael Arcuri, an attorney and partner in the law firm of Ward Arcuri
Foley & Dwyer, will be the featured speaker. Hsa Shee Wah Paw, a new
citizen formerly of Burma, will also share a few words. Mr. Carl DeFranco
will perform a few musical selections and the Rome Police Department will
present the colors.
The ceremony is open to the public, and cameras are welcome. If you are
