The Late Bell: WWE Expands Halloween Week With Three Title Matches

WWE added another Halloween-week broadcast, SmackDown is now carrying three reported title matches, and AAA changed Saturday’s cruiserweight championship bout after Mini Vikingo was ruled out. Those are the most useful late-day developments as Monday moves toward Raw.

This edition does not repeat the overseas results or the complete Raw and Arena Puebla cards already published in today’s Morning Bell. Instead, it updates the parts of the wrestling week that changed or became clearer after that report.

Late Raw clarification: IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez is non-title

Raw streams live tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern on Netflix from Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. The four-match card remains the same as this morning: Becky Lynch vs. Stephanie Vaquer in a Women’s World Championship No. 1 contender’s match, Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria under No Disqualification rules, IYO SKY vs. Raquel Rodriguez, and Chad Gable with Dragon Lee against Ethan Page and Big Cass.

The important late clarification concerns Rodriguez and IYO. Some early listings described the match as a Women’s Intercontinental Championship defense. WWE’s current match page calls it a non-title match. That is the designation readers should use unless the promotion changes it on the broadcast. Adam Pearce’s social preview suggested that IYO could move closer to a championship opportunity, but WWE’s written listing does not promise an automatic title shot.

Confirmed: The match is on the card and WWE currently labels it non-title. Analysis: An IYO victory would still give the promotion an easy path to a later championship match, but that future match has not been announced.

WWE adds a Tuesday Danhausen Halloween special featuring the WWE Halloween special

WWE announced Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil Halloween Special for Tuesday, October 27, at 10 p.m. Eastern on WWE’s official YouTube channel. The stream is scheduled immediately after NXT. WWE is advertising spooky matches, surprise guests and Halloween-themed presentation, but it has not published a match list.

In addition to the Danhausen special, fans can look forward to the WWE Halloween special, which promises exciting matches and surprises.

Additionally, fans are buzzing about the WWE Halloween special, known for its thrilling matches and unexpected surprises.

That last point matters. The special is confirmed, while any guesses about the participants are still speculation. The promotion’s official announcement on X is the clearest source currently available. It is a promotional video posted by WWE, not a fan upload.

The Tuesday stream begins a three-show Danhausen run. Friday’s SmackDown has been branded a Very Nice, Very Evil edition, and Danhausen is also the announced host of NXT Halloween Havoc on Saturday.

SmackDown builds Halloween Eve around three championships

SmackDown is scheduled for Friday, October 30, at 8 p.m. Eastern on USA Network from Charleston Coliseum in West Virginia. WWE’s venue page confirms the city and date. The October 23 broadcast and subsequent reporting established three title matches:

  • Undisputed WWE Championship: Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams.
  • WWE Women’s Championship: Chelsea Green vs. Nikki Bella.
  • AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix vs. Ricky Saints.

Zayn against Williams has the strongest official paper trail. WWE’s October 23 results specifically say Williams pinned Ricky Saints one week before Williams’ title match with Zayn. The challenger therefore reaches Friday with a win and a clear claim to momentum, even though he did not pin the champion in that six-man match.

Green against Bella and Fenix against Saints were announced on WWE programming and are listed by Wrestling Observer/F4W in its current Halloween-week card. WWE had not yet built separate match pages for them when this edition was checked. They are treated here as announced matches, not completed results.

Analysis: Three championship matches give the themed episode substance. The Zayn match also carries the biggest future consequence because Zayn is advertised to face Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel on November 7. WWE has not announced what would happen to that bout if Williams wins Friday, so any replacement scenario remains only a question.

NXT Halloween Havoc: official page trails the announced card

NXT Halloween Havoc airs Saturday, October 31, at 7 p.m. Eastern on The CW and ESPN Unlimited. WWE’s central event page currently lists two title matches and Danhausen as host:

  • Grayson Waller vs. Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Championship.
  • Kelani Jordan vs. Wren Sinclair for the NXT Women’s Championship.
  • Danhausen as host.

Reputable card trackers, including ProWrestling.net and Wrestling Observer/F4W, also list Zilla Fatu vs. Charlie Dempsey in a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal match, Naraku vs. Shiloh Hill, and Zaria vs. Izzi Dame in a non-title match. Those three bouts were set on NXT television, but WWE’s main Halloween Havoc page had not added them to its quick-hit section by late Monday afternoon.

Status note: The two title matches and Danhausen’s role are confirmed on WWE.com. The other three matches were announced on television and are supported by reputable reports, although WWE’s event hub is lagging behind. That difference is disclosed rather than hidden.

AEW Fright Night has three Dynamite matches and a Stardom title bout

AEW presents Fright Night Dynamite on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Eastern on TBS and HBO Max. The company is also taping Saturday’s Collision at the same October 28 event in St. Louis. AEW’s event page lists a 6:30 p.m. Central arena start, which is 7:30 p.m. Eastern.

AEW has confirmed three matches for the live Dynamite broadcast:

  • TBS Championship: Persephone vs. Queen Aminata.
  • TNT Championship: Darby Allin vs. Josh Alexander.
  • Best-of-five series, Match 3: FTR vs. Motor City Machine Guns, with the series tied 1-1.

AEW’s official October 24 Collision report confirms all three and the Wednesday broadcast time. Saturday’s Fright Night Collision also has an Artist of Stardom Championship match: Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue defend against Hazuki, Koguma and Fuwa-chan. Because Collision is being taped Wednesday, readers who want to avoid spoilers should be careful with social feeds after the arena event.

No other Dynamite or Collision match is being presented here as official. Challenges made on television can move a story forward, but they do not become booked matches until the promotion confirms them.

TNA sets four matches for Thursday

TNA Impact airs Thursday at 9 p.m. Eastern on AMC and AMC+ in the United States, with TNA+ carrying the program in international markets where available. TNA’s official October 22 results page announced four matches for October 29:

  • TNA X Division Championship: Amazing Red vs. Cedric Alexander.
  • TNA Knockouts Television Championship: M by Elegance vs. Jada Stone.
  • Elijah vs. Ryan Nemeth.
  • John Skyler vs. AJ Francis.

The X Division match has the clearest sports hook. Alexander earned the opportunity in a four-way, but Brian Myers and Bear Bronson interfered before the finish. That does not cancel the win or the title shot. It does give Amazing Red a reason to prepare for more than one possible problem.

For readers who want the complete setup, last Friday’s Morning Bell covers the October 22 Impact results. This edition only advances the announced Thursday card.

ROH: Thursday episode expected, public card still pending

ROH on HonorClub is expected to release its next weekly episode Thursday at approximately 8 p.m. Eastern. ROH’s homepage still points viewers to Episode 189, and the promotion had not posted an official Episode 190 card by the time of this check.

Matches were taped after Saturday’s AEW Collision, and spoiler reports are circulating. The Late Bell is not listing those results before the episode airs. The responsible status is simple: an episode is expected, but the public promotional card is still pending. ROH has confirmed Final Battle for December 4 at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, but no Final Battle match is official yet.

AAA changes Saturday’s title match after Mini Vikingo injury

AAA Héroes Inmortales Week 2 is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, at 10 p.m. Eastern. The program is expected on WWE and AAA’s official YouTube channels in the United States and on FOX in Latin America.

Mini Vikingo is no longer cleared for his scheduled AAA World Cruiserweight Championship match with Rey Fenix. WWE’s Week 1 results page confirms that Vikingo said he needs elbow surgery. Fenix will instead defend in an open challenge, with the challenger not announced for the broadcast.

AAA posted the injury segment through its official social account. Readers can watch AAA’s original clip on X. It is linked rather than downloaded or reuploaded.

Week 2 and Week 3 were taped on October 24, so spoiler results already exist. This article does not reveal them. The broadcast match should remain an open challenge for readers who want to watch without knowing the outcome.

CMLL tonight and Tuesday

CMLL’s Día de Muertos show at Arena Puebla begins tonight at 10 p.m. Eastern for Legend-level members of the promotion’s official YouTube channel. The complete six-match card is already in today’s Morning Bell and is not repeated here.

Tuesday’s Arena México event begins at 9:30 p.m. Eastern. The official card includes a six-man qualifier to choose Mexico City’s representative for the Rey del Inframundo title, plus Akuma defending the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship against Esfinge. CMLL says its cards remain subject to late change.

What is confirmed, reported and still rumor

Confirmed by primary sources: Raw’s current non-title designation for IYO vs. Rodriguez, the Danhausen YouTube special, WWE’s two listed Halloween Havoc title matches, AEW’s three Dynamite matches, TNA’s four-match Thursday lineup, AAA’s cruiserweight open challenge, CMLL’s Monday and Tuesday cards, and the listed venues.

Reported from announced television material: SmackDown’s Green vs. Bella and Fenix vs. Saints title matches, plus the three additional Halloween Havoc bouts that WWE’s event hub has not yet added.

Rumor: No unverified rumor is being promoted as news in this edition. ROH and AAA taping spoilers exist, but they are intentionally omitted. There is also no claim here about who will answer Fenix’s open challenge or who will appear on WWE’s Halloween special.

Social video and copyright note

Two official source videos are linked: WWE’s announcement of the Danhausen special and AAA’s Mini Vikingo injury segment. No Instagram Reel or TikTok post was added because searches did not produce a current, clearly relevant official clip with stable access and sufficiently clear audio and footage rights. TikTok access was also blocked during verification.

The X videos are direct links to the promotions’ original posts. They were not downloaded, edited, cropped or reuploaded. A platform post or native embed does not guarantee copyright clearance, so the article uses attribution and direct-link fallback rather than copying footage.

The final bell

Monday night still belongs to Raw, but the bigger late-day change is how crowded the rest of Halloween week has become. WWE has a new Tuesday special, SmackDown has three championships advertised, NXT has a full Saturday event, AEW has title matches on both Fright Night broadcasts, and AAA had to reshape its cruiserweight match.

The practical lesson is to watch the official cards, not the rumor cycle. Some pages update more slowly than television announcements, while taped shows create spoilers before the audience sees the program. This edition labels those differences so readers can decide what to watch and what to avoid.

Information checked Monday, October 26, 2026, shortly before the 5 PM edition. Future cards remain subject to change.
