Assemblywoman Buttenschon Statement on Tornado

New York State, Oneida County, and Rome are still currently under a State of Emergency. Many of our families, churches, organizations, businesses, and government offices have been devastated by the tornado that touched down in Rome. My prayers go out to all that are dealing with the current devastation.

Thank you to all first responders for their unwavering support and protection. My office is available to field calls and assist residents.  Please remain off the streets as there still is much clean up that is necessary in the community. In case of an emergency please dial 911, non-emergency calls, please call 211.

Thank you again to all first responders and community members who continue to work to assist those in need.

In addition, I will be canceling my canal event today so personnel can assess the damage.
