(Marcy, NY) Jared Pearl for Oneida County Sheriff and Max’s Print Shop presented a check for $3,500 to representatives of Honor Flight Syracuse earlier today in Marcy.
The Pearl campaign made the contribution from proceeds of t-shirt sales throughout the last several months. Max’s Print Shop in Marcy was also proud to play a role in providing the t-shirts and helping maximize proceeds for local veterans’ mission to our nation’s capital.
Honor Flight Syracuse covers ten counties in Central NY, Northern NY, and the Mohawk Valley – including Oneida County. The mission of the Honor Flight is to assist all veterans in the ten-county area, willing and capable, to obtain a flight to visit their service memorial at no cost to the veteran.
“I’m proud that the support our campaign has received translated into a good deed for the veterans of our community. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to our local veterans who sacrificed for our freedoms. We’re proud to play a small role in allowing them to enjoy a day of honor at our nation’s memorials,” said Jared Pearl.
