Reproductive freedom is under attack here in New York and across the country. The Republicans are attacking abortion, IVF, birth control and putting our organs, fertility, and lives at risk. Like many of you I have righteous rage about how women’s power to choose their future is shrinking because of the Republicans in Congress and Supreme Court. I’m thinking about one thing when I go vote in the June 25th Democratic congressional primary. Who do I believe will fight to protect abortion and reproductive freedom at all costs? 

Sarah Klee Hood is that person. She’s a millennial mom like me and a veteran like my parents. While serving to protect our freedoms, she and her husband faced the nightmare of wanting a healthy pregnancy but needing a second trimester abortion. Republican Brandon Williams wants to restrict people in her situation from getting the abortion care they need including traveling across state lines. Williams is wrong!

Sarah will beat Brandon Williams in November. The best thing Democrats in NY22 can do is vote for Sarah Klee Hood in the Democratic congressional primary on June 25th. Action alleviates anxiety, so vote.
