ROME, NY – The Rome Rescue Mission Thanksgiving Food Basket sign up is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1st – Friday, November 3rd and Monday, November 6th – Friday, November 10th from 10 am to 5 pm, at 413 East Dominick Street, Rome. Photo ID is required, one basket per family.
The Thanksgiving Basket includes everything a family needs for a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Items may include a frozen turkey, potatoes, vegetables and rolls, all the fixings necessary to bring a family together for a complete meal. Also included is recipes on how to cook a traditional meal.
Distribution of baskets will take place at 280 East Dominick St. on Monday, November 20th from 9 am to 4 pm.

The Rome Rescue Mission serves 200 meals per day and has an 18-bed shelter for women and children. They provide a means of hope by giving shelter to the homeless, feeding the poor, inspiring lifelong learning, and encouraging a personal relationship with God to everyone who is served.
