Susquehanna Valley Garlic Festival returns for 20th anniversary

Garlic lovers in Otsego County, get ready. A local garlic festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary soon. The Susquehanna Valley Garlic Festival will take place Saturday, September 18, at Wood Bull Antiques in Milford.

The event started back in 2001 as a small garlic market and has since turned into a larger festival featuring garlic and locally produced garlic products. Vendors will be there to provide demonstrations and garlic growing tips.

There will also be local musicians performing and a number of themed souvenirs to choose from.

The festival is supported by the Susquehanna Valley Garlic Growers Association.
